It is clear that automated systems have the capacity to do things, which as humans, we either can’t or don’t wish to do. Likewise, there are also many aspects of discovery that ONLY humans are good at.
The real goal of automation should not be to remove the human element completely. It should be about machines and humans working together in partnership, doing what they each do best and between them achieving far more than they could individually.
